Dear Parents,
This is homecoming week and the high school
cheerleaders have the following activities planned for
the week:
Tuesday – Camouflage yourself as you hunt a
homecoming victory over the Moran Bulldogs!
Wednesday – It’s a wacky
wardrobe day so don’t worry about matching colors or
even matching shoes, just wear something wacky to wear
out the Bulldogs
Thursday – Choose a friend and
dress like twins and double the Wildcat chances of a
win over the Bulldogs
Friday – It’s blue and gold
day so show your true colors by wearing your royal
blue and gold!
The homecoming pep rally will be Friday afternoon
followed by the homecoming game at 7:00 p.m. in
Wildcat Stadium. The
ex-students will have a meeting on Saturday morning
followed by lunch served by the PTO and then the
parade beginning at 2:30 p.m.
in front of the high school..
The Rising Star Livestock Raisers will meet Wednesday
at 4:30 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria.
The Rising Star Youth Football Association players
will have tackle football practice today at 6:00 p.m.
at the baseball field.
Flag practice will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the
park. If
it rains, we will not have practice for today.
All RSYFA teams play at Blanket this Saturday
9/11/10.Flag team plays at 10:00a.m., 3rd/4th
grades play at 1:00 p.m., and the 5th/6th
grade team plays at 4;00 p.m.
